Landcare SA Financial Assistance Package

Eligibility:

• Must be a current LASA member.
• Unincorporated groups may need an auspicing body for grants.
• Relevant insurance policies must be in place.

Application Process:

• Submit the opt-in form when applications are open.
• The LASA Management Committee makes final decisions.
• Groups can opt-out anytime before signing an offer.

Payments & Invoicing:

• For grants, successful groups must submit an invoice (and Statement by Supplier if no ABN).
• Insurance reimbursements do not require invoicing.

Important Notes:

• Completing the opt-in form does not guarantee funding.
• Timelines and amounts will be confirmed after submissions close.

Who can apply:

• LASA member groups with the required insurances.
• Must have successfully acquitted the 2024 Care for Landcare Grant, if applicable.

What you’ll need:

• Broad idea of equipment/materials to purchase or hire.
• GST status.
• ABN (if applicable) and incorporation status.
• Insurance details.

Grant value:

• Expected $1,000–$2,000 per group (depending on total applications).

Spending rules:

• Must be used for Landcare activities.

Acquittal:

• Submit a simple report, receipts, and any photos after spending.

Who can apply:

• LASA member groups that paid insurance premiums in the last 12 months.
• Must be unable to access sufficient free insurance via local Landscape Boards or Council.
• Cannot have already received funding for all premiums this year.

What you’ll need:

• Insurance details, including costs paid in the last 12 months.
• Proof of payment (receipt or bank statement).
• Certificates of insurance for policies purchased with your own funds.

Reimbursement value:

• Expected $300–$800 per group, depending on total applications and costs.

Eligible insurance types:

• Landcare Insurance Package policies and any additional policies necessary for your group.

Acquittal:

• Not required for insurance reimbursements.
